Roman Ruins, Vineyard, Cantina Walking Tour + Wine Tasting
We will take a leisurely hour long walk around a vineyard farmed by 4th generation winemakers. (The walk may be adjusted fit to the group's ability or desire.) This historical property is framed by ancient Roman walls that once surrounded the summer home of Caesar Augustus. During the tour we will visit ancient cisterns as well as historical and modern cantinas. Our tour will be followed by a wine tasting featuring the 7 family varietals.
Leisurely walk through vineyards and Roman ruins to an amazing view of Baia Castle and the entire bay of Naples. Followed by a wine tasting featuring 3 unique styles of Falanghina, Piedirosso as well as other ancient, native grapes grown only in this speicif region of Bacoli.
Comfortable attire, layers during evening events and WALKING SHOES.
