Overnight on the Vineyard
Come tour a biological vineyard farmed by gorgeous, friendly horses. Only ten minutes from our accomodation and seemingly in the middle of nowhere, this is one of the most magical properties I have visited!
On Saturday we will have a farm to table lunch paired with Spumante made in the classical Champagne method, white and red wines, olive oil and grappa. Highlights include a white Greco that can age for ten years, a fan-favorite low-cost Montepulciano and Nero buono, a dark-skinned grape native to this region and made for Roman nobility. Following free time for relaxation or exploration, we will tour a second cantina operated by a consortium of vitners and have an elegant wine-pairing dinner in the stately glass panaled dining room surrounded by vines.
Our accomodation is a modern agriturismo on an historical community vineyard achitecturaly constructed using hundreds of wine barrels. The hill-top village of Cori is picture perfect in the distance and easily reachable walking or by car. The quiet town is filled with ancient temples, monuments, churches and sweeping views of the countryside below.

Attention wine collectors, foodies and travelers interested in seeing what is of the beaten path! These regional tours may be scheduled for small groups and adjusted to fit your needs and desires. These are great opportunities to experiences the best of Italy off the beaten path. Emphasis it given to local food and wine and there are always opportunities to be active and meet locals. Please note that the schedule, duration, activities and pricing are flexible depending on what your group would like to experience. Child rates are also available upon request. Please wear comfortable shoes and layers for our vineyard walks. Dinner attire can be casual or dressy. Wine and olive oil are available for purchase using cash or credit.

One night accomodation and walking tours of the vineyards and cantinas, parking and wifi
Optional cheese making tour held on a fascinating local farm, includes tastings at each stage in the cheese making process (their fresh, warm ricotta is my favorite!) lunch and wine.
Tickets are transferable to another guests, but will not be refunded.
